I nspirational persons can change your life within minutes. Accidentally I saw a video clip of Gary Vaynerchuk, entrepreneur and CEO of VaynerMedia. I directly knew that he is different. He has an enormous work ethic and his advices are always helpful. Especially for people who feel that they got stuck in their current situation and always try to find excuses not to start with something they think it could work, should watch one of his videos. He is putting clips online on daily basis. By watching his clips he convinced me to document my journey of surfing in Iceland. After I missed to do this during my last trip, I am already glad that I started. Therefore I want to point out some of my favourite quotes below and highly recommend watching at least one video.

“400 trillion to 1. I just want everybody to hear this. This is the reason I’m happy 24/7/365 for the rest of my life. 400 trillion to 1. The odds of becoming a human being. You might not like the human being situation you ended up in. But let me tell you this. Your mum might have grabbed another glass of wine and you never would have been.”

– Gary Vaynerchuk

“How do you stay driven? I’m gonna ask you a question ‘How don’t you stay driven?’. Let me get this right. You won the Lotto of the universe which is you are a human being on earth.”

– Gary Vaynerchuk

“I have zero expectations, and that is the reason I’m happy 24/7/365.”

“I hate how many people think “glass half-empty” when their glass is really four-fifths full. I’m grateful when I have one drop in the glass because I know exactly what to do with it.”

– Gary Vaynerchuk

“I want to sit with 80- and 90-year-old people more than anyone. They have played this game before. Not one of them has told me, ‘I wish I had more money’.”

– Gary Vaynerchuk

“Live your passion. What does that mean, anyway? It means that when you get up for work every morning, every single morning, you are pumped because you get to talk about or work with or do the thing that interests you the most in the world. You don’t live for vacations because you don’t need a break from what you’re doing – working, playing, and relaxing are one and the same. You don’t even pay attention to how many hours you’re working because to you, it’s not really work. You’re making money, but you’d do whatever it is you’re doing for free.”

– Gary Vaynerchuk
